For the Executive Committee 2023 and 2024
The Nominations are invited for the Executive Committee 2023 and 2024 for the following 18 (Eighteen) Posts:
- President - 1 (One) Post
- Vice Presidents - 2 (Two) Posts
- Secretary - 1 (One) Post
- Treasurer - 1 (One) Post
- Joint Secretaries - 4 (Four) Posts
- EC Members - 9 (Nine) Posts
- 06-10-2022 (Thursday) - Calling for the Nominations
- 28-10-2022 (Friday) 5:00 PM - Last date for the Submission of the Nominations
- 29-10-2022 (Saturday) - Scrutiny & Announcement of the Nominations (Received)
- 02-11-2022 (Wednesday) 5:00 PM - Last date for withdrawals
- 03-11-2022 (Thursday) - Scrutiny & Announcement of the Nominations (Finalized)
- 06-11-2022 (Sunday) 10:30 AM - Polling, Counting & completion
The Life Members and the Patrons of Association (as on 01-10-2022) are eligible to vote, to nominate and to be nominated.
The Nominations may be by self-nomination or by proposal with the consent of the nominee. The Nominations should be submitted online in the following Nomination Form - EC 2023&24 on or before 28-10-2022 (Friday) 5:00 PM.
The Election Timeline (Revised Schedule)
The Following set procedure will be followed before preparing the Lists of Deemed to be Elected Unopposed and the Contesting Nominees to the General Body of the Association.
06-10-2022 (Thursday)
The Calling for the Nominations by Email, by WhatsApp or by Post.
28-10-2022 (Friday) 5:00 PM
The Last date for the Submission of the Nominations.
29-10-2022 (Saturday)
Scrutiny & Announcement of the Nominations (Received)
Finding the unique nominations for each Post: If a member is nominated for the same post more than once, the first nomination (based on Timestamp) will be considered all other subsequent nominations will be ignored.
Ensuring no member contesting more than one Post: If any member is nominated for more than one post, the nomination for the higher Post will be considered as per the precedence list and all other nominations for the lower Posts will be ignored. The Precedence List for the Posts:

- Joint Secretary
- EC Member
The Announcement of the Nominations (Received) wlll be posted on our Website in the Alumni News Page and an Email or a WhatsApp message will be sent to all the nominees and the proposers.

Last date and Time for the withdrawal of Nominations by Email or by WhatsApp.
Members can withdraw their Nominations by Email or by WhatsApp to the Retuning Officer: Sri KV Varma (Email ID: varmakv07@gmail.com) (WhatsApp: +91 93910 50908) and marking a copy to the Secretary (Email ID: secretary@ecosak-hyd.org) (WhatsApp: +91 98490 10176) by sending a message in the following lines: " I am Sri XXXXXXX, [Year, Branch] withdrawing for the Post of XXXXX" from the email ID or WhatsApp number with the Association.

Scrutiny & Announcement of the Nominations (Finalized): After due consideration of withdrawals, the Announcement of the Nominations (Finalized) wlll be posted
on our Website in the Alumni News Page and an Email or a WhatsApp message will be sent to all the Members (Life Members and Patrons) of the Association including the nominees deemed to be elected unopposed and all the Contesting nominees.

Relevant Rules
set out in the Bye Laws of the AssociationThe relevant paragraphs regarding the election of the Executive Committee from the Bye Laws of the Association are:
- 10.1 The Executive Committee is constituted by the following posts. The number in parenthesis indicates the number of posts:
- 10.1.1 President (1): Leader of the Executive Committee and decides the conduct of the Association with the help of the other members of the committee through guidance and carrying the members with him. However, in instances of lack of unanimity the opinion of the majority will be taken as the decision of the Executive Committee.
- 10.1.2 Vice Presidents (2): In the absence of the President, the Vice President discharges the duties of the President.
- 10.1.3 Secretary (1): Responsible for executing all the decisions of the Committee with the help of Joint Secretaries and other members.
- 10.1.4 Joint Secretaries (4): Help the Secretary in executing all the decisions of the Committee.
- 10.1.5 Treasurer (1): Responsible for the proper maintenance of the accounts of the Association and payments will be made in concurrence of the Secretary and shall furnish a statement of accounts for the financial year and get it audited by the Auditor appointed by the General Body and get it approved in the next immediate Executive Committee and General Body meetings.
- 10.1.6 Members (9): Alumnus who represent a group of Alumni through the organization in which they work or by geographic location; help as a team in the execution of the decisions of the Committee.
- 10.2 Term of the Executive Committee: Two Calendar Years.
- 10.2 .1 The Office Bearers in the posts of President, General Secretary and Treasurer shall not continue in the same office for more than two terms consecutively. They shall be eligible to contest again for the same post with a gap of at least one term.
- 12. 5 The General Body elects the Executive Committee once in two years.
- 12. 6 For the purpose of participating in General Body or getting elected to the Executive Committee, only Life Members and Patrons are eligible.
